Clearflow Lauded in International Mining Cleantech Challenge.
Clearflow is a global leader in water treatment products and environmental technology, today announced its successful participation in the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association’s (CCIA) Mining Cleantech Challenge (MCC) for 2022.
The MCC is one in a series of Cleantech Challenges that connect large industry partners directly to innovative clean technology solutions. The 2022 call for applications asked for companies capable of working on issues related to advanced materials and chemicals, biological solutions, energy efficiency, process solutions, slurry and/or dirty solution filtration, water, and other key categories. Submissions were reviewed, applicants vetted, and program sponsors selected 12 companies as finalists to present during the virtual program.
Clearflow Group US Inc. was one of 39 companies invited to participate in the international CCIA MCC, and one of just 12 companies selected to present and advance to the final.
“This was one of the most robust and diverse sets of technology applications to date in our Mining Cleantech Challenge series,” said Mary Austin, CCIA’s executive director. “CCIA and its sponsors, who act as judges, were extremely impressed with the caliber of the companies that presented in this sixth iteration of the MCC. I am confident that the exposure and continued connections will yield positive outcomes for all involved, and the mining industry at large shall benefit thanks to this program.”
Clearflow Group US Inc. finished second in the final competition of environmental technology companies from the United States, Canada, and Australia.
“Clearflow Group was the only water technology company to make the top three and the only Indigenous company,” said Jerry Hanna, CEO of Clearflow Group. “We are very honored to be in this elite group of innovators and continue to bring leading edge environmental technology to our global clients.”
