Clearflow was engaged to assist in looking for alternatives for recycling on-site water which could be used instead of potable water for fire suppression.

Clearflow was engaged to assist in looking for alternatives for recycling on-site water which could be used instead of potable water for fire suppression.
A suitable water source was found and the samples were tested to determine the optimum Water Lynx product and process to use for removing the solids. Clearflow’s Patented PR5 System(link to a page?) and WL 360 and WL494 Clearflow Blocks would be the best and most cost-effective methods for treatment.
With Clearflow’s solution in place the mine was able to:

Treat up to 250 gallons (0.94 cubic meters) per minute.

Eliminate the use of potable water for fire suppression saving millions of dollars.

Recycle almost 90% of the water from the equipment wash bays.

Ensure that they no longer have the opportunity to run out of potable water to maintain fire suppressant storage.

Save thousands of dollars in hauling water in the event of low supply.

No longer need to shut off secondary areas of the plant from potable water to ensure supply for fire suppression water.
